Ginnerup Church is set on the edge of a little village a few kilometres to the east of Grenaa, in the Djursland countryside. The development of the church is fairly typical. The choir and nave are built in the Romanesque style, the equivalent of the Norman period in English church architecture. The church has been extended during subsequent periods. The granite carved font almost certainly dates back to the foundation of the church. The carved wooden pulpit is in Baroque style.
