The German Reformed Church, one of the most attractive churches in Central Copenhagen, despite its name, did not originally serve only Germans. Essentially the Church was built in 1689 to serve the Calvinists who could not assent to the Lutheran doctrines, many of whom were French and Dutch. The interior is dominated by beautifully carved wooden features. The pulpit is set dramatically high above the altar table, and the organ is magnificent.
