Situated a short distance from central Copenhagen and accessible by public transport, Gentofte Lake is situated in the midst of a nature reserve. There is a path all around the lake which is popular with walkers and cyclists. You can enjoy watching the birdlife or sit down and relax at any point for a picnic or rest on a fine day. The lake is a good place to bring children, since there are two well-equipped playgrounds on its shores. There are also parking and toilet facilities.
