Gate of Randers

The “Gate of Randers” is an iconic landmark that was erected as the first part of the major Randers public art project. It was designed by Børge Jørgensen and erected in 1991. It stands at one of the historic entrances to the town and is formed in the shape of a stylised lower-case r on a massive scale. It is more than five metres high. It is formed in stainless steel. At night the sculpture is lit with neon.
