The Garrison Church of Copenhagen is situated in the centre of the city, near the Royal Palace of Amalienborg, on Sankt Annæ Plads. It was consecrated in the early eighteenth century; the architects were W.F. von Platen and Domenico Pelli. It is a beautiful church in Dutch baroque style – the interior is particularly striking. It contains a Norwegian marble altarpiece and an eighteenth-century organ and a late eighteenth century font and pulpit.
