The frigate “Jylland” is a major tourist attraction on the Djursland peninsular. It is to be found in the harbour at Ebeltoft and has official four-star attraction status. It is the world’s longest wooden frigate and one of the last to be constructed of the material. It is beautifully restored and has a full complement of authentic equipment. During high season a cannon display is mounted in a re-enactment of the Battle of Helgoland in which the frigate took part. The ship has a café on board which offers great views of the surrounding countryside.
