Frejlev Church
Verdisvej 4, 9200 Aalborg SV - Denmark

Map

Frejlev Church is found outside Aalborg, in a small village on the road to Nibe. The church is pre-Reformation and dates from the early thirteenth century. Despite its age, the church is largely furnished in a vibrant, modern style by the artist Per Kirkeby. The interior of the Church is light and benefits from white ceilings. It also uses bright colours, including bright yellow for the pews. The golden bronze altar is from 1999.
