Frederiksberg Palace
Roskildevej 28, 2000 Frederiksberg - Denmark

Map
Frederiksberg Palace dates from the beginning of the very beginning of the eighteenth century and was built at the behest of King Frederik IV. Substantial additions were made about thirty years later. The building is in the style of a baroque Italian villa. It is situated in the magnificent Frederiksberg gardens. It is painted an attractive yellow colour, although originally it was white. It now houses the Danish military academy. Well worth seeing from the outside, it is open for guided tours at selected times – check with the local tourist office for details.
