Map

Frederik’s Bastion is a fortification situated at a strategic point at the north of Copenhagen harbour. It was for many years used as a Royal ammunition store. The building is over 250 years old. It now houses a cultural centre that is a venue for alternative contemporary art exhibitions, lectures, and debates. The focus of the activities of the centre is co-operation within the Nordic world. As well as hosting an extensive programme of events, the centre has a popular cafeteria.
