Sculptor Bjørn Nørgaard was commissioned to create three complementary artworks as part of a renovation of Nørregade. All three are granite water sculptures. The intersection with Horsstræde contains a circular structure created in many hues of red. The squared granite pattern symbolises the earthly and finite while the centre depicts Odin’s eye – a symbol of wisdom and insight. Water flows over the stone creating a moving effect.
