The European Car Museum contains exhibits of 120 unusual and unique vehicles, mainly dating from what it terms as the “Golden Age of the Car”, namely 1945 – 1960, and claims to be the biggest public collection of vehicles from this classic era. The museum contains a Volvo once owned by Queen Margrethe, a Danish police car, and a Ford Anglia used as a mobile cheese shop. It also has a large collection of motorcycles, sidecars and scooters. The museum is often the venue for events such as classic car rallies. There is a picnic area and café
