Egå Church lies to the north of Aarhus city centre, in a small village on the banks of Aarhus bay. Like many Danish village churches it dates from well before the Reformation, and the main body of the church, comprising the chancel and nave, are built in a Romanesque style. Late Gothic additions to the church include the tower and porch. The church continues to serve a parish of the Danish Lutheran Church but welcomes visitors.
