Ebeltoft Zoo and Safari Park is located to the north east of Ebeltoft, near Stubbe Lake. It houses more than eight hundred animals, most of whom are allowed to roam about freely in conditions designed to be reminiscent of their natural environments. Habitats based on each of the five continents have been created. Children are encouraged to observe the animals being fed and cared for, and are allowed to handle some species. The attraction has received four star status from the Danish Tourist Authorities. There is a cafeteria here.
