Dragør museum is situated in the highly attractive harbour of what this little seafaring town on the fringes of Greater Copenhagen. The museum building is a pretty and traditional. The museum concentrates on the area’s history, with particular attention being paid to its seafaring history. The exhibits include paintings, model ships and curiosities collected by local sailors from around the world. The museum also owns a cutter, the Elisabeth K571, which it has fully restored.
