A short distance from the delightful museum and harbour of Dragør, which lies on the tip of the island of Amager, is a small but popular beach. Parking facilities in the area are good and there are toilets at the site. A particular attraction of this beach is that the sand and sea are rated extremely clean by the Danish health authorities. The sea here is very shallow, and thus it is a particularly suitable place to take small children. An excellent place to stop off on a sunny day and relax if you are making a visit to the area.
