Map

Dieselhouse is a highly unusual museum centred on a huge diesel engine, dating from 1932, which is still operational, and that for 30 years was the largest such engine in the world. The museum uses a multimedia show to illuminate the history of the building and functions of the engine, especially its connections with the Danish shipping industry. It contains a cinema that is used for film presentations. There are special educational facilities for children. Guided tours are available.
