Rådhusstræde 6, 1466 København K - Denmark

Map

The Danish school museum lies centrally in Copenhagen between the main shopping street and Christianborg palace. It traces the history of Danish schooling in a country where education is highly prized. There are exhibitions showing what old schoolrooms were like and what teaching methods were used. As well as the permanent displays there are a variety of changing temporary exhibitions. The museum is particularly designed to engage children’s interest and there is plenty of “hands-on” activity.
