The Danish Music Museum offers a fascinating tour through the history of music, and especially concentrates on the period from the Renaissance to the present-day. It holds an extensive collection of instruments, including some unusual ones made by Copenhagen’s renowned instrument-builders. The museum has several permanent exhibitions and makes use of high-technology and sound. There is a collection of instruments that children are encouraged to experiment with.
