The Museum of Placards and Posters is a very Danish experience, since it reflects the Danes’ mania for collecting everything and anything, preserving it wonderfully and displaying it in an interesting and stimulating manner. This unique collection contains posters from all over the world. The oldest poster dates from 1885. Although the museum has over a quarter of a million items, only a selection are displayed at any one time as part of themed exhibitions.
