The Danish Media Museum chronicles the development of printing, bookbinding and illustration. It is currently expanding its collection and permanent exhibitions to fully embrace recent developments in electronic media. It has active workshops in which skilled workers demonstrate the traditional methods required to produce various sorts of printed works. The main collection contains many artefacts and documents connected with the print industry. A variety of temporary exhibitions explore the cultural and social impact of mass communication.
