Danish design is justifiably famous around the world, and has had a huge impact on architecture, furnishing and manufacturing. The Danish Design Centre acts as a showcase for designers from a large number of disciplines and fields, from architecture and graphics, through to jewellery and public works. The centre’s building was designed by the Danish architect Henning Larsen. The exhibitions are constantly changing to reflect the latest developments. Guided tours are available. The DDC has a stylish cafe and a shop where you can purchase a sophisticated souvenir.
