Located near the massive swimming pool complex in Esbjerg you can find the Curling Centre. Curling is a sport somewhat related to bowls played by pushing polished stones across ice. It is a team effort as sweepers use brooms to aid and control the path of the stone. If you want to try your hand at this unusual North European sport, this is an excellent place to start. Anyone can turn up with friends and rent a rink at this excellent facility; instruction is available for the uninitiated.
