Christian’s Mill, situated centrally in Svendborg, southern Fyn, is the symbol of this town, gateway to the South Fyn archipelago. Its particularly attractive feature is that lights all around the sails throughout the year illuminate it. It dates from the mid-nineteenth century and was a working business until about fifty years ago. It is now owned and maintained by the Svenborg municipality, in accordance with its landmark status. It is a listed building in accordance with the rules of the Danish authorities.
