Christianborg Palace Chapel
Christianborg, 1218 København K - Denmark

Map

The Christianborg palace chapel is the church of the royal family, and is open to the public. It provides the settings for royal occasions, such as the recent christening of Crown Prince Frederik’s son, Christian. It was rebuilt after being largely destroyed by fire in 1992 and was re-consecrated in 1997. The work is acknowledged to be of a high standard and the building has won prizes for distinguished restoration. Guided tours of the royal church are available if booked in advance.
