Borum Eshøj is situated near the village of Sabro, on a hill a few kilometres to the north west of Aarhus. The plateau on top of the hill is four kilometres square and represents one of Denmarks largest Bronze Age burial sites. Extensive excavations of the site began in the late nineteenth century, and to date the remains of more than forty men and women have been uncovered, together with many artefacts buried with them.
