The Big Game Trophy Museum is the largest collection of big game trophies in Scandinavia. Two stories of Valdemar slot, outside Svendborg, are devoted to the display of stuffed animals ranging from entire bears to lions and tigers. The museum contains a large number of items of cultural and historical interest such as sculptures and jewellery, collected by the Danish aristocracy on the travels in far-away continents.
