Situated in the extensive grounds of the magnificent Frediksborg Slot, whose chief role nowadays is to house the museum of national history, is the Baroque Garden. The garden is a relatively recent innovation, and a key attraction for visitors. It is a recreation of the garden created by Johann Krieger from the 1725 and was completed in 1996. The garden is noted for the royal monograms made of box-wood, and the attention to historical detail.
