Baron Bolten’s Court is found in central Copenhagen, not far from Kongens Nytorv (“The King’s New Square”) and contains some of the finest old buildings in the city. It is named after a wine merchant, Henrik Bolten, who so impressed the King that he was given the title that has resulted in the square’s name. Nowadays the area has a relaxed feel and is a haven for those seeking to rest and people-watch at the many bars, restaurants and cafes established here.
