Annisse Church lies a few miles to the south of Helsinge. It is attractively located near the banks of Arresø lake. It lies in a beautifully kept churchyard. The building dates back to the eleventh century. The nave and choir originate from this period and were originally in the Romanesque style. The chancel was extended in Gothic style in the fifteeth century. The interior flooring contains original medieval flagstones. The church serves a Lutheran congregation.
