Alslev Church lies to the south west of Varde on the edge of a countryside village. It is a medieval church. It dates from the thirteenth century. The eastern part of the nave dates from this time, and was built from granite. The church was later extended to the west and a tower added. The church was once the property of the nearby manor of Visselbjerg. Its attractive churchyard is surrounded by established trees.
