An attractive small building by the roadside beyond Braband to the west of Aarhus, Aarslev Church looks out over beautiful countryside to the west of Braband lake. It is situated on the Silkeborg road. A medieval church, it has a chancel and nave in characteristic Romanesque style. The late Gothic period saw substantial extension to the building. It now serves a congregation of the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church.
