A very popular activity for visitors to Odense is the Aafart boat trip, which leaves from the Munke Mose park by Filosofgangen. The boat glides along through the beautiful green scenery of Fyn, making its first stop at Odense Zoo; its final destination being close to the Fyn Open Air Village. As well as being a pleasant trip in itself it represents one of the easiest ways to reach these attractions from the town centre. There is plenty of bird and animal life to observe along the way. On summer evenings the boats sometimes carry a jazz band.
