The Aabenraa shipping museum charts the maritime history of a town that still retains a busy harbour, and whose prosperity and history is intimitely linked with Danish seafaring. Many of the exhibits in the museum are items brought from various far-flung ports around the world. The museum hosts regular temporary exhibitions on cultural and historical themes. The museum contains a cafeteria and a shop and has parking facilities.
